A quick practical guide for all of the participants of Expo Entrepreneurs

The adventure is set to begin. In just a few days, we’ll meet at Montreal’s Place Bonaventure to stimulate and spotlight Quebec’s entrepreneurs.

Whether you’re a beginner or a veteran, from Montreal or elsewhere, Expo Entrepreneurs is the personal and professional experience that will make you reconsider entrepreneurship in Quebec.

Get ready to live the experience to the fullest.

On Your Mark…

Here are some last things to consider :

1. Know your schedule

Thursday January 25th from 9 AM to 5 PM.

Your entry is valid for the two days of the event. Includes access to the “Grande Soirée”.

2. Find your transportation

The event takes place at Place Bonaventure in Montreal. 800 Rue de la Gauchetière West, room 400.

Buses and trains

You can also get here by bus (consult STM routes) and by train (Central Station and Lucien-L’Allier stations are nearby).

Parking is available in Place Bonaventure and on neighbouring streets.

If you are coming the bus with one of our travel partners (Keolis and Intercar) please note that the bus terminal is located at Berri-UQAM station. Take the metro’s orange line to Bonaventure station, just a few stops away.

3. Download the Expo Entrepreneurs app

Too much information? As good entrepreneurs, we know that your cell phone is your friend. Download the mobile app “Expo Entrepreneurs 2018” through your App Store or Play Store. Programs, conferences, experts and schedules are at your disposal; select and keep track of your favourite content. Once downloaded, the app can be used offline.

If you do not have a smartphone handy, consult the programming on our website.

Expo Entrepreneurs means possibility. If you’re not sure about where to go next, we’re here to help you.

A team of “connectors” dressed in green shirts will be on location to guide you. Do not hesitate to ask them any questions about programming, directions or requirements regarding expertise.

Get to work: be inspired, connect, resolve

Workshops will take place in the domes (Place publique and Marché central), in spaces that have been converted into labs or spaces for our partners. There are 40 seats per workshop. Register on the spot, between 9 AM and 12 PM for the morning workshops and between 12 PM and 4 PM for the evening workshops.

The central stage

Our conferences will take place here. Many of them will be held simultaneously, and the stage is divided in two.  You will be able to move from one presentation to the other through a system of headsets to listen to the content you’re interested in and to ensure you don’t miss out of any of our programming! Our headsets will be available on location but for your own comfort, we suggest you bring your own.

The clinics

Need a particular expertise? Our connectors will guide you to the right clinic to suits your needs. You’ll be able to schedule an appointment with an expert you choose to meet during the day. Appointments last 10 to 20 minutes.

The “Quartiers”

Meet public support agencies in our quarters. They will individually present their services in training, business support and financing. Meetings last between 10 and 20 minutes.

Demo Space

Discover successful and influential businesses and start-us and let their product and creativity inspire you. You’ll have access to our WeWork lounge to take a break and network in peace.

For a pick-me-up

Pause dîner

Because even entrepreneurs get hungry, we planned a picnic space with food trucks with various dining choices and treats.

On the menu: Pyza (Polish specialties), Boule et Crème dodo (ice cream desserts), Taste Italy (Italian specialties), DimSum (Chinese specialties), Félix et Norton (cookies), La boîte à fromage (raclette sandwiches), and Porchetta (Italian specialties).

Discounts available at certain stands.

The Grande Soirée

Enjoy a relaxed atmosphere during our Evening Event on January 24th. From 5 PM, join us in the dining area where you’ll have four hours to network, enjoy yourself, create connections and discuss future collaborations. Drinks will be offered by our exhibitors and partners. Meanwhile, attend the Grand Finale of the World Objective Tour at 5:15 PM on the central stage, followed by stories of entrepreneurial failure during the 7th edition of our Fuckup Nights as of 7 PM.

So, are you ready?

We’ll have you know that you are going to be part of an amazing unprecedented adventure. We kindly thank you for your enthusiasm and your engagement.

All of us at Expo Entrepreneurs are excited to see you and accompany you on a special adventure!
